Chris Watson

Chris Watson, ex-member of Cabaret Voltaire and The Hafler Trio, creates stunning field recordings of animals, habitats and atmospheres from around the world.

This is a track from "Outside The Circle Of Fire"- a collection of 22 minutely detailed close-up recordings of animals, birds and insects in their natural habitats. These recordings leave me speechless.

Chris Watson has also worked on many BBC radio and television productions and recently collaborated with KK NULL and Z'EV.

Here is an article where Chris Watson offers tips on recording birdsongs.

Spirocheta Pergoli

The only information I can find on this early 80s Italian dada-synth-noise combo is that artist/designer Massimo Giacon was a founding member. If anyone has any info, please respond.

These MP3s are from the Fuzzi Bugsi Tumpa Il Bongo! 12" - Trax Record 1984

Maybe By Now Some Of You Are Saying, "What's With These Satanists?"

The Satan hysteria of the 80s provides fodder for plenty of laughs.

Billy Hybells, a minister from Bumfuck, Nowhere got pretty worked up over Satan in a sort-of-casual way. Bill spouts off tons of laughable gory gruesome details about what Satanists do, but he lacks the fire & brimstone fury of other lunatics and sounds more like a little boy stumbling over his sermon, covering up his lack of oration power by making smug comments. His lack of belief in this hokum is quite obvious.

These recordings came from a cassette found in a thrift store.

Late 20th Century Children's Music Shit-Pile

No need to explain, really. Listen to these deplorable excuses for children's music and cram a wire-brush in your anus. Then try to get these ridiculous songs out of your head. Found in a thriftstore with no cover- the tape simply says The Great Body Shop. From 1990.
