Billy Synth
![]() | From a 1980 Sordide Sentimental 7", comes Billy Synth's beautifully inept "Hartzdale Drive Destruction" featuring a one note bass line, oscilating synth, and confused and meandering shouted vocals. Over the years Billy Synth has led other bands such as The Turn-ups and The Windowpaynes. |

Like Mike Rep, one of those "old" guys that is more important than anyone really knows.
Oh. My. Gawd. This is the most wonderful song I have heard in a long time. I must leave now and obsess over finding a copy of it.
isn't that half japanese as the back up band? i think so.
Yes it was the meeting of Billy Synth with the fabulous and cult band Half Japanese !
Hello everyone & thanks for the cool comments! Really, this recording was done just as a fun & very off the wall session with the Half-Japs. NO "rehersals", & NO "practice", we just got to their home & then it was 1, 2, 3...START! I NEVER PLAY THIS RECORD! It is too silly for Billy!! AND, I actually got PAID REAL MONEY for this! Well, I guess you people who liked this noise might not appreciate all of the GOOD stuff I recorded with Blue Ice,The Janitors,The Turn Ups,My solo,"State Of Confusion/Music Is Forever" EP,The Windowpaynes,+ many CDs of me as Starboy! Now let the video archives begin! Here in the swanky offices of Bona Fide Records our intrepid videographer Floyd Tull has posted remarkable Billy Synth videos including his 17 min. sister ray!
